·      Curd stimulates hunger and is therefore helpful in the malady of anorexia or the loss of hunger.

·      Not only this, during the first stage of common cold, when there is watery discharge from the nose, Ayurveda recommends intake of curd.
·    Curd is likewise beneficial to be taken in the ailment of dysuria or painful and decreased urination.
